📣 Open Board Position – Be a Voice for Your Neighborhood

One of our board members has stepped down to focus on family, which means we have an open seat on the Braun Station West HOA Board.

• 🗓️ This position runs through January 2027

• 💻 Applications can be submitted online or in the HOA office

• 🗳️ The board will vote at our October 8th meeting

While it’s a volunteer position, it’s also a meaningful way to influence the future of our neighborhood. Board members help oversee budgets, community projects, improvements, and events. If you’ve ever thought, “I wish I could make a difference here” this is your chance to step up and serve!

Get ready to shop, sell, and stroll the neighborhood!

Neighbors will be hosting sales from their own driveways and yards, making this a fun, community-wide treasure hunt. Whether you’re looking to declutter, bargain hunt, or meet new neighbors, it’s always a great time.

👉 Important Reminder: Each household must secure its own City of San Antonio garage sale permit.
🛒 Permits can be purchased at HEB or online.

🎃👻 Halloween Pooch Parade &Trunk-or-Treat at Braun Station West! 🐾 

📍 BSW Clubhouse – 8630 Tezel Rd
🗓 Saturday, Oct. 25th
⏰ Parade starts at 4 PM | Costume judging at 5 PM

Bring the kiddos, your pups, and your best Halloween spirit! 🧡 We’ll kick off the fun with a Pooch Parade around the clubhouse parking lot then it’s time for Trunk-or-Treating!

🚗 Trunk Hosts:
If you’d like to set up a trunk, please email manager@braunstationwest.com so we can get a headcount.
All trunks must be set up by 4 PM.

🍬 Can’t make it? You can still join the fun by dropping off candy at the clubhouse to share with neighborhood kids!

🏠 Thinking About Home Improvements?

Friendly reminder: If you’re planning any exterior improvements to your home, such as fencing, sheds, or a pool you may need ACC (Architectural Control Committee) approval before beginning your project.

👉 Apply online or stop by the HOA office to pick up an application.

This process helps us maintain neighborhood standards and protect property values, while also avoiding unnecessary headaches later on. If in doubt, check first!

🏠 Clubhouse & Pool Rentals – Plan Your Next Party Here

Looking for the perfect place to host a birthday, baby shower, graduation, reunion, or holiday party? The BSW Clubhouse and Pools are available to rent through the end of 2025.

💲 Rental Options

• Brigadoon Pool: $100 rental + $100 deposit + $100 pool monitor (cash)

• Tezel Pool: $150 rental + $150 deposit + $100 pool monitor (cash)

• Clubhouse Only: $250 rental + $250 deposit

• Clubhouse + Pool: $275 rental + $275 deposit + $100 pool monitor (cash)

📍 Visit us at 8630 Tezel Rd to check availability and reserve your date. Our spaces are popular, so be sure to book early!

🌊 Pool Season – Dive In While It Lasts!

Summer isn’t over yet our pools are still open for neighbors to enjoy! Whether you’re swimming laps, teaching little ones, or just cooling off, don’t miss the chance to enjoy this community favorite.

Tezel Pool Hours:

• Tues–Thurs: 6 AM – 8 PM

• Fri–Sun: 6 AM – 7 PM

• Closed Mondays for maintenance

Brigadoon (Tony LaFrenier) Pool Hours:

• Open daily: 6 AM – 7 PM

• Closed Tuesdays for cleaning

🎉 Pool Parties Available:

• Brigadoon Pool: Every day, 7 PM – 11 PM

• Tezel Pool: Weekends only, 7 PM – 11 PM

📬 HOA Assessments – Past Due Reminder

If you haven’t paid your 2025 HOA dues, please do so as soon as possible to avoid late fees.

💳 Payment Options:

• Pay online

• Drop check in the HOA office drop box (8630 Tezel Rd)

• Pay in person during office hours (Mon–Fri, 12–6 PM)

💲 Fees: $1 for ACH • 3% for card payments
